We left for Georgia the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Our flight was at 8:30 that morning and after no traffic and a nearly empty airport, we were settled in the Presidents Club lounge by like 6:45. Oof. These junior jet-setters wasted no time getting comfortable:

We were able to keep them occupied with glasses of ice water and stirring straws... oh, and Shipley's kolaches, as you can see in this pic.
With multiple suitcases, carseats and carry-ons to haul, we decided to leave the stroller at home, so these big boys marched all around the airport until it was time to get on the plane. They each had their own seat this round, so we got them settled in and couldn't believe how grown-up they looked.
Thankfully, the flight went more smoothly than we expected (and WAY more smoothly than our flight to Colorado back in June). The boys kept themselves entertained with seatbelts, tray tables, armrests, magna doodles, LeapPads, iPads, window shades, a/c nozzles, toy cars, snacks, drinks, and little plastic dinosaurs. Did I mention it's exhausting playing cruise director on a two-hour flight???

Grant:
It was way past naptime, but we knew Nanny and PopPop would be arriving from New Jersey any minute, so we waited up. They hadn't seen the boys since last September, and they were shocked at how big they are now.

After dinner there was time for more fun on the Bennys:

PopPop took some pictures too, and of course Reid rushed over and had to check himself out on the camera:
