Disney World Day 2 (Part 1): Hollywood Studios

On Thursday morning we were back at Hollywood Studios bright and early so we could see Morgan in action. (She's a cast member on the Great Movie Ride, which has always been one of my favorite Disney attractions.) First, though, there was a bus ride (of course), and R&G decided they wanted to sport their aunts' festive Minnie ears:

When we got to Studios, we ran straight to the Toy Story ride so we could get in line before the wait was too crazy. The boys were anything but patient, but it was worth it just to get see them have so much fun on the ride. I rode with Reid, and he pulled the gun's string the entire time and seemed to be in awe of all the sights.

From there it was onto the Great Movie Ride.

Morgan did a fabulous job and surprisingly the boys weren't scared of the gunfire or anything else (though we did cover their eyes during the alien part, because that scares even me).

Ryan and Randy left to play golf after the ride, and the rest of us headed back to the bus stop to get a ride to Animal Kingdom.

While we waited, the boys walked around holding hands and absolutely melted. my. heart!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They seriously walked around like this for a good 5 minutes, and I could not handle the sweetness. I think I took close to 30 pictures just of them holding hands.

I'll cover Animal Kingdom in my next post, but let me fast-forward to that evening when we went BACK to Hollywood Studios.

We were supposed to see Fantasmic, but I didn't want to wake the boys up from their naps so we ended up being late for dinner and then missed the show. It turned out fine, though, because they were thrilled to have the chance to watch the Osborne lights again and run around exploring a deserted area with Honey and Big while the rest of us rode the Rockin' Roller Coaster.
