Thanksgiving in Georgia - Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day started like every other day in Georgia: with lots of playing, enjoying the gorgeous weather, and spending time with the family. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There was lots of time spent engaged in the boys' favorite Georgia activity: cuddling in the porch swing.

 

 

They woke up from their naps to find the house full of some of our very favorite people. Johnny Blue was nice enough to bring some fake snow for them to play with, and they loved it. Grant loved the balls from the ladder golf game, too, and Reid loved walking around the yard holding his daddy's hand (also a favorite pasttime of both boys at home):

 

 

 

 

 

 

Soon enough it was time for the amazing dinner prepared by Peggy, Maureen, and Lanie's mom and grandmother, and these little turkeys were such troopers! They tried and ate at least a couple of bites of just about everything, before ultimately deciding that the turkey was their favorite part.

On the holidays, we always wish we could be two places at once, but we're so glad we got to spend this one in Georgia. 

Between these sweet boys and all of our family and friends who love us so well (and whom we love so dearly), we have much to be thankful for!
