How is it Monday already??

Reid still had fever on Saturday and no amount of Advil and Tylenol could bring him any relief, so he was pretty pitiful all day. He spent a lot of time in my lap, and then we spent a couple of hours outside to distract him from how bad he felt. And it seemed to work for the most part, especially when Aunt Sassy and Uncle B showed up and we pulled out the water table:

Cousin Colbie helped, too:

And of course Grant was right in the middle of the action:

This is the face of a madman:

But no amount of water fun or aunt and uncle love could keep Reid happy for long:

... so he took it easy while Brother wore himself out:

On Sunday both boys woke up fever-free (thank you, God!). I was co-hosting a bridal shower for my cousin, Jessie, so the three of us headed to Dayton around noon to get in everyone's way help set up.

The boys napped in the car and were a little cranky / stranger weary for the first hour we were there, but after some snacks they finally let us put them down.

My 99-year-old great-grandmother was there, so we got to take another five-generation picture with her and Memaw:

For comparison, here is the picture from February 2011 when she met the boys for the first time:

This morning came way too fast, but thankfully it's a short week for me since I'm taking Thursday and Friday off and will get some extra quality time with my big babies. And, we have the added bonus of a visit from Poppy this evening!

Have a good week, all!
