Everyone survived 12-month vaccines on Saturday (and with minimal crying!), but we had some cranky boys on our hands that afternoon. Thankfully the rain held off so we were able to kill some time outside, which definitely makes these kids happy.
They are such BOYS... playing with sticks, eating rocks, exploring, climbing.

They l-o-v-e roaming around in the back of their daddy's truck:

It's Rodeo Time here in Houston (we're taking the boys tomorrow!), so they wanted to try on their daddy's work boots and see what it felt like to be a pretend cowboy. Neither one was a fan, but Reid was the most vocal about his displeasure:
This was the only time they sat still for more than a second:

Neither Ryan nor I wanted to battle with the double-grumps for dinner, so we took a little family field trip to Pappasito's, knowing these boys are always better-behaved in public. They ate chips, salsa, guacamole, chicken and beef fajita meat, beans, rice, sour cream and cheese. There's no doubt they're Texans!
Here they are gnawing on some chips:
(Sorry for the crappy iPhone pics.)
Sunday brought more of the same... grumpy boys, and the backyard to the rescue. More pictures to come in the next day or two...
OMG Classy Alabama bibs! Love it!
ReplyDeletePS I would like to come to Houston next year when the boys participate in the Mutton Bustin contest! Love you all :)
