Baby, it's cold outside!

Ryan and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at Hyatt Lost Pines (with the Jansens along for a super fun surprise!), and we returned home on Sunday afternoon to blessedly chilly temperatures and two sweet, big boys whom we missed so much.

The past few days, the boys haven't even finished their dinner before they start saying "iiiiiiiiiiieeeee, iiiiiiiieeeeee," which means "outside" (and "inside," too). I'm not sure what we're going to do once it starts getting dark by 6 p.m., but for now we're soaking up the beautiful fall weather and enjoying some fun outdoor playtime each evening. Sunday was so chilly, in fact, that we had to bust out the boys' cute new jackets, which of course I had to take pictures of:

For the most part, they really liked the hoods and spent the evening walking around very carefully so they wouldn't slide off.

Yay for Fall, and thank you Lord for cool weather! And of course, a huge thank-you to my mom for coming to stay at our house with the boys so we could get away for the weekend. We love you, Honey!
