Mimi & Poppy's Easter visit

Reid and Grant got an extra-special treat this Easter: a visit from Mimi and Poppy! They arrived on Thursday evening and we got to spend Good Friday just hanging out and enjoying the beautiful weather.

Mimi, the boys and I took a trip to Target to buy eggs for our neighborhood egg hunt, and these kids scored BIG off their Mimi's generosity! (By the way, Target? Your double shopping carts are riiiiiiiidiculously huge and impossible to navigate. Back to the drawing board.) Mimi hooked them up with brooms, shovels and pails, and between those and their golf clubs, you would think all their dreams had come true. 

I already talked about how we spent Saturday morning, and Saturday afternoon was pretty low-key. The boys were treated to multiple wagon rides, showed Mimi and Poppy how much they love their water table, and then relaxed with some half-naked swinging.

Then it was Easter, and then, sadly, it was time for Mimi and Poppy to head back to Georgia. As always, it was a great visit that was over much too fast. Thanks for spending Easter with us, Mimi and Poppy -- you are loved!
