Sunday funday with Mimi and Poppy

After they decided to give the horses a rest last Sunday, there was still plenty of fun to be had thanks to some mixing bowls, spoons, puzzles, books, and more.

While the boys stirred up some fun, Poppy spent the better part of an hour assembling 576 (only a slight exaggeration) cardboard bricks:

Reid was hilarious -- he found his reflection in the bowl and thought it was the funniest thing he had ever seen. He kept tilting his head, laughing, and flirting with that cute baby in the bowl:

 

 

 

Grant may not have loved the stick horses from Mimi and Poppy, but he did love the new puzzles they brought him and his brother:

And of course he made time for some reading, a favorite activity of both of these sweet boys:

Sadly, the long weekend ended too quickly, and Mimi and Poppy had to go back to Georgia. The boys (and we) can't wait to see them again at Thanksgiving -- we may have to cancel our flight and rent a trailer to haul all the toys they've come to expect!
