Mother's Day

On Sunday we had my mom, Memaw and Papaw, Steph and Bret, and Randi Kay and Josh over for Mother's Day lunch. (Randy was working and Morgan stayed in Austin since she has exams this week.) The hamburgers were good, but it was these two little stinkers who really stole the show, thanks to their cowboy hats and sunglasses:

I could seriously eat them up with all this cuteness. This was the first time they'd left their sunglasses on for any length of time... and the hats just stayed perched on their little blonde heads as if they wear them like that every day. 

They had more fun with their water table...

 

 

 

 

...but the best part was Josh squirting them with--and letting them drink out of--the hose. It was pure bliss for these little water babies:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

They had time for bubbles, too... and Reid thought they were delicious!

 

I love those chubby, full-of-water bellies!

After so much hard playing, they wound down with a truck ride and some quality time with Honey.

We are beyond blessed to have wonderful mothers, grandmothers and great-grandmothers in our lives, who have provided amazing examples of what it means to raise a family with love, nurture, prayer and strength. We are so thankful for you, Mom/Honey, Mom/Mimi, Memaw, Nanny and Tennie!
