Easter morning

We had a sweet Easter, made even sweeter by the fact that we all got to do a LOT of extra rejoicing. I'm finally allowed to announce that Reid and Grant will be getting a baby cousin in October! Steph is 12 weeks pregnant with a sweet little miracle baby, which also happens to be Ryan's and my first niece or nephew. Needless to say, we're all over the moon, and Easter 2013 was an especially precious time of worship and thankfulness.

We started the morning by letting two sleepy-eyed little boys dig into their Easter baskets.

The boys got lots of fun goodies, including swim suits, wind-up bath toys, tools for the garden and sandbox...

... and yes, they got little boy babies, too. Now they can finally stop holding and rocking their Mr. Potato Heads and quit referring to them as "baby." They were so sweet to their new babies:

Right before we left for church, I insisted we squeeze in a few pictures...  and ended up with my new favorite photo of me with my boys:

After church we headed to Dayton for lunch at Memaw and Papaw's and more fun at Honey's and Big's. Those pictures will come in my next post.

Easter is one of my favorite holidays, and I want the boys to always remember why we celebrate and what it means. Jesus is risen indeed!
