The princess aunt

On Saturday we went to Dayton for a going-away party for Morgan, who will be leaving next week for a semester-long internship at Walt Disney World. She has been chosen to be a character, and she has her fingers crossed for a princess (namely, Cinderella--a lifelong dream). Some of her high school and college friends came over to wish her well, and Reid and Grant wouldn't have missed it.

Bless their hearts, they had just woken up about 5 minutes before this picture, hence the thousand-yard stares and the puffy eyes. Now that Grant sleeps on his face, he looks like he's been on a 3-day bender every morning when he wakes up.

At one point Ryan walked into Morgan's room to find both of the boys sitting in the middle of a circle of pretty teenage girls, just flirting away.

And Honey even got in some extra-sweet snuggles from Reid, who momentarily regressed a few months:
